Do any of the hotels have a late check out option? We are staying at Art Of Animation in November and our return flight home doesn't leave MCO until 8:30pm.

    Hi Andrea,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

We often take a very late flight out of Orlando International Airport on our last day of vacation in order to maximize our time at Walt Disney World Resort! Unfortunately, late check-out is not always available and depends on how busy the Resort is on the day that you want to check out. Plus, the latest I’ve ever been able to stay in our room was 1:00 pm (and that was several years ago).

What I recommend instead: if you’re staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, then you’ve already got access to one of the coolest pool areas in Walt Disney World Resort: the Big Blue Pool! You can laze the day away there while waiting for your flight without any problems. You can also visit any one of the Theme Parks if you still have a day left on your Theme Park Tickets.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
