Hi! The hotels w/ gym access are not in our budget this yr.Which hotels have well lit running paths? My husband and I took turns running each day at the gym ( the other stayed w/ our 3 kids) last year. We need to be running by 5am to make park openings.

    Hi there!

This is a great question.  Disney World is my favorite place to do my training runs.  It doesn't matter which trail you are running on, there is something so magical about being there and seeing everything come to life early in the morning.

Here is a link to the maps of the jogging trails at Disney World.  The Moderate Resort that has the best lit trail is Saratoga Springs.  The Value Resorts, Pop Century Resort and Art of Animation, also have nicely lit trails.

My favorite path to run on, and one that is also well-lit, is the path around the Boardwalk and Beach and Yacht Club Resorts.  Even if you don't stay at one of those resorts, you could try to get over there once for a really beautiful run.

Keep in mind that if you stay at any Disney Resort, you can use other resorts' fitness facilities for a small fee.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
