Hi Melissa,
I just love the Disney fireworks celebrations! To me, there isn't a greater way to end the night than gathering around with friends and family to watch the beautiful shows. Having small children sometimes makes this unfeasible, late at night, from within a park, so I love that many of the resort locations have a full or partial view of some of the shows.
You are able to view the Magic Kingdom's
Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from the three monorail resorts: Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Resort or Disney's Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower.
My favorite resorts to view the mid-air fireworks from Epcot's
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth are Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Boardwalk Resort or Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resorts.
You may need to request a Theme Park View room, for an extra fee, to ensure you are able to view them directly from your room, but there are other locations throughout each of the resort grounds to offer you a similar view for free. My kids, for instance, love to sit on one of the hammocks surrounding Barefoot Bay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, to watch the fireworks before jumping into bed.
I hope this information helps in planning your Disney vacation. Please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
