Hi, Martin!
When visiting Walt Disney World, you will find so many options for hotels. Every travel party has different needs and likes, so Mickey Mouse certainly has seemingly endless choices when it comes to where you can choose to stay during your magical vacation.
Value Resorts will be the most economical. These resorts offer standard hotel rooms, or you may opt for a Family Suite at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The Family Suites are nice as they sleep up to 6 guests and have 2 full bathrooms. Value Resorts have large food courts, swimming pools, and have amazing theming at the resorts. If you choose Art of Animation or Pop Century, you get the added bonus of the
Disney Skyliner for transportation. Value Resorts are very family friendly and have a lot of energy.
Deluxe Resorts are top-of-the-line resorts complete with character and/or table service dining, amazing resort style pools, close proximity to theme parks, and even options for suites and concierge service. You may even opt for beautiful rooms at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with views of
Cinderella Castle. Deluxe Rooms are for guests who are looking for a luxury stay with all the amenities.
Falling in the middle will be your Moderate Resorts, such as
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. These are lovely properties that have rooms that are a bit larger than Value Resorts and while amenities vary, you will find a hot tub, more dining options, and a pool water slide.
So, what is my favorite? Well, thanks for asking! My family really enjoys the Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort as it offers 1 queen bed and 2 full-size beds, so we have plenty of space. This is our go-to if we plan on a lot of time in the parks. If our vacation plans are leaning to a lot of resort time, we stay at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Nothing beats a day lounging at the pool or watching
Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Polynesian beach.
Take time to browse through the
list of Disney Resort Hotels to see what will work for your travel party as far as budget, room size, and resort amenities. If you narrow it down to a few properties, feel free to pop back to planDisney for more information on any location. Anyone on our amazing team will be happy to give you details! Have fun choosing the perfect hotel for your magical visit to Walt Disney World!
