What Hotel/Room for two adults and two young teens of opposite gender? I'm planning a trip to Disney Florida. Most rooms are two double beds, but this is an issue for the teens. What other options are there, are joining rooms twice the price?

    Hey there, Dave!

Welcome to planDisney! Planning a vacation with your family to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth is part of the fun, and I'd be happy to help you choose the perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel to fit your needs. Did you know that staying at a Disney Resort hotel has perks like Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary transportation to the parks, and that fully immersive theming that keeps you in the Disney bubble from check-in to check-out? With so many options, let's find the best fit for you!

For an affordable option that keeps everyone comfortable, I recommend looking into rooms with a 5th sleeper. These rooms typically include two Queen beds and a Child-Size pull-down bed (think of it as a twin-size mattress cleverly tucked under the TV). You'll find these setups at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, which offer beautiful atmospheres and excellent dining options.

If you're looking for a little more space, several Disney Deluxe Resorts offer rooms that sleep up to five adults, including Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. These rooms feature two Queen beds and a Day Bed, which is a pull-out couch that works well for a teen needing their own space. If your goal is ultimate comfort and space, Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort are a great way to go. These suites feature a private bedroom with a Queen bed, a pull-out double-size sofa, and a double-size Murphy bed that folds down from the wall. Plus, the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort give you access to the Disney Skyliner, which makes traveling to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios a breeze.

Now, Dave, since we may have different definitions of 'affordable,' you could also explore 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom options at Disney Deluxe Villas. My planDisney class of 2024 bestie, Jenna J., is all about the deluxe experience and swears by the multi-bedroom accommodations—and honestly, I don't blame her. If I had her money, I'd burn mine!

After researching these options, if you'd like me to discuss my personal favorites, I'd be happy to do so and help you find the perfect spot for your upcoming stay. Just say the word!

    See ya real soon!
