I’m happy to share that you can absolutely use a
Disney Gift Card for your stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel. When you get to the payment screen during the booking process, you’ll see the option to use a Disney Gift Card as your form of payment. The website can only accept one gift card, so if you have multiple cards, you can
visit the Disney Gift Card site to consolidate all card balances into one (up to a max of $1,000).
You will see the option to pay the balance in full, pay a small deposit of $200 (subject to change), or pay a deposit in another amount of your choosing. You will pay the remaining balance at the time of check-in. Keep in mind that you will also be required to provide a credit card at check-in for incidentals. A hold will be placed on your card, but you can use Disney Gift Cards to pay the remainder of your balance.
Now that we’ve talked about using gift cards, your next step is choosing which hotel you might like to stay at. For me, there’s nothing more iconic than staying at the classic Disneyland Hotel. I love the whimsical and nostalgic vibes I get when staying here. I love to start my day zipping into Tomorrowland by way of the Disneyland Monorail and then grabbing a DOLE Whip from
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill before heading back to my room to end the night.
