    What hotel is in walking distance to magic kingdom? Or which hotel is easiest for me to drive to MK not using Disney transportation??

    Hi, Shenell!

    The only resort within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom is the Contemporary Resort.  The next closest resorts will be the Polynesian and Grand Floridian which are just a quick monorail ride away from the park.

    If you drive to the Magic Kingdom, any resort will be about the same.  Your closest resort options will be Wilderness Lodge or the Port Orleans Resorts.

    I really suggest using Disney transportation when going to the Magic Kingdom.  Parking is very far away, but the Disney buses will drop you right at the front gates.  It is your choice, but it will be faster in most cases to let Disney do the driving!
