Hello Tammy, and welcome back to planDisney! I’m thrilled you’re here again, and it’s truly an honor to help with your
Walt Disney World vacation plans. Hearing you’ve booked a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and Theme Park Ticket package is fantastic! Staying right in the heart of the magic comes with
so many perks, from
early park entry to easy access to dining and attractions. This lets you enjoy every detail of your vacation with as much ease and flexibility as possible.
Regarding your upcoming New Year’s Eve plans, this is indeed one of the most popular times of the year at Walt Disney World! With New Year’s Eve being one of the busiest days, it’s not unusual for Magic Kingdom to reach capacity, and
your dining reservation doesn't guarantee you entry. It’s essential to arrive early and make a plan to stay in the park, as re-entry could be restricted if the park is at maximum capacity. Since your dining reservation at
Cinderella’s Royal Table is later in the evening, arriving early will be your best bet to ensure access and a truly memorable dining experience at the castle!
To make the most of your day before your reservation, I’d recommend enjoying breakfast or lunch at a few of Magic Kingdom’s great dining spots. Grab a quick bite at breakfast at
Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland (the cinnamon rolls are massive and delicious) and lunch at
Casey’s Corner for some all-American classics. For a good midday rest, consider taking a break at the
Tomorrowland Terrace or finding a quieter spot outside
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. The upstairs seating at Columbia Harbour House is also a fantastic place to unwind. For attractions that let you rest while soaking up the magic,
Mickey’s PhilharMagic,
The Hall of Presidents, the
PeopleMover, and
Carousel of Progress all offer a chance to sit back and recharge—perfect for pacing yourself for a long and exciting day.
I hope this helps with your plans, Tammy! If you have any more questions,
don’t hesitate to reach out.
Cheers to the New Year!
