Any hotel suggestions within walking distance to the parks for a family of 5? I'd say 25mins is our max distance. I'll have a 6, 4 and 1 year old.

Hi Janessa! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question!

O'hana means no one gets left behind, so let's make sure you and your family can find a hotel that fits like Cinderella's glass slipper! It is challenging to recommend a hotel when there are so many great choices. The Disneyland Resort Hotels will be the shortest walk to the theme parks and Downtown Disney. If you aren't planning a stay at one of those hotels, I suggest looking at the Good Neighbor Hotels. These hotels have Mickey's seal of approval! My preferred Good Neighbor Hotels are the Anaheim Marriott and Candy Cane Inn. When searching for hotels, it's best to start by entering your dates of stay and the number of people in your travel party to help narrow the search. Since you are bringing your three Mouseketeers, entering this info will also help filter the choices you have for bed options, as some hotels will have room types that would better accommodate the size of your family. You can also select the filter, "Distance to Disneyland Resort" to help narrow your search.

In my experience, many Good Neighbor Hotels offer complimentary or fee-based shuttles. Once you have narrowed your hotel search, you can also check the walking distance from those hotels to the theme parks by selecting "Map" on the Good Neighbor Hotel page. You can see all of the hotels on the map, and choose filters such as "Across the Street" and "Free Transportation to the Disneyland Resort." There are also quite a few Good Neighbor Hotels within a short walking distance to the Toy Story parking lot, where you and your family can enjoy complimentary bus transportation to and from the Disneyland Resort. This can be a great option because you will go through security before boarding the bus, provided you arrive at the lot before noon.
