What hotel site do you recommend? For 9 year old boy first visit and 13 yo girl 2nd visit - also, activities to sign up for in advance?

There are so many factors to consider when choosing the right resort for your family, Mary.  First and quite possibly foremost is budget.  Are you looking for a value, moderate or deluxe resort?  Numbers aside, my first choice would be Disney's Beach Club.  Your children will love the amazing pool at that resort.  The proximity to Epcot is also really convenient.  And if those two things don't convince you, perhaps the delicious sundaes available at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop will tempt you.  Order the kitchen sink sundae and I can guarantee your kids will think you're the coolest mom ever.

As for what to book in advance, you should definitely reserve your dining times.  If you are looking to do any special tours, those should also be booked well in advance.

    Have a wonderful time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
