Which hotel resorts have the 5th sleeper bed?

    Hi Travis! Welcome to planDisney.

Over breakfast this morning, my family was very intensely debating our favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotel. There is so much to love at these resort hotels, and it's really impossible to pick a favorite because between theming, pools, recreation, dining, transportation, location...there are so many factors that contribute to each hotel's magic. It sounds like you're in the process of selecting a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for your family, and I'm so excited for you.

The 5th sleeper bed is a great feature for families of five. Mine is a family of four, but my Mouseketeers prefer not to sleep together, so it's a great option for us. Plus, the 5th sleeper bed is like a fun surprise - when you pull it down, there's some cute Disney art inside, and kids love that it's a hidden secret in the room. You'll find these beds at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Note that you must book in the "5th Sleeper" room category to ensure you have this bed in your room.

If you're looking for other options for a family of 5, if you enter your party size, including the ages of your children, in the search bar on the Resort Hotels page, you'll see a list of resort hotels that can accommodate your family. In the value category, the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort will give your family a little more space and extra beds. In the deluxe category, all resorts with the exception of Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge feature a small sofa (sometimes referred to as a daybed) that unfolds into a bed. You could also look into Deluxe Villa accommodations for a larger family - I know many families love the Deluxe Studios at Disney's Riviera Resort, which have an innovative layout for families of 5.

Travis, have fun choosing your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. We shared our tips for finding the hotel that's right for your family in our Panel Extras, and I hope they're helpful. If you have any further questions as you plan and dream about your visit, please come back and see us.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
