Hi Christina!
Staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort allows you to immerse yourself in the Disney experience. The whimsical theming, the fun pools, free transportation to and from the theme parks, and the Disney standard of service keeps my family hanging our ears at one of Mickey's hotels every time.
Walt Disney World Resorts are absolutely available for booking by anyone, but several reasons could be contributing to why no availability is showing for you:
-Certain times of the year, especially around holidays and school vacations, are quite popular at
Walt Disney World, so there could be no openings.
-If you are searching by
Special Offers, this applies to a limited number of rooms, and these deals fill up quickly.
-Try searching by "All Resorts" instead of one category (value, moderate, or deluxe) or a single resort.
-When I am initialing researching resort options, I input "2 adults" to see the most results. Rooms typically only allow accommodate four people, so a search for five or more limits your findings to villas or suites.
-Play around with different dates to see availability for various times.
Do keep checking on openings. When I tried to book for this October, the very popular 50th anniversary month, l looked everyday until I was able to snag my preferred resort. Bookmark it on your phone and you can check before you even get out of bed in the morning.
Christina, I do hope you are able to book a Disney resort. The convenience of being able to take an afternoon break for a nap or a dip in the pool, and the half hour early park admission make for an extra magical stay.
Enjoy your wonderful adventure visiting the mouse!
