When will hotel reservations open for January 2026?

    Hi Erin,

Thank you for visiting planDisney. Sounds like adventure is on the horizon for you! I am happy to help you chart a course and set sail. I have wonderful news for you, hotel reservation dates for January 2026 have already started to open up. As of today, I was only able to go as far as December 31, 2025 for a check in date, but I was able to check out up until January 8, 2026. So head to the Disneyland website and see which room options work for you. You can also get assistance with booking your hotel in advance by calling the Walt Disney Travel Company at (714) 956-6425. This number is available from 7am to 9pm daily. A Cast Member will be able to help you with booking your hotel.

I have had the pleasure of staying at all three of the Disneyland Resort hotels and I can tell you they are all fantastic. The Disneyland Hotel is the original resort hotel, so it already has me sold on its place in Disney history. The rooms are gorgeous and I love that the headboards in the room have twinkling lights outlining Sleeping Beauty’s castle. It helped add a bit of magic to my daughters bedtime. You can not beat the proximity of the Grand Californian. I love its special entrance to California Adventure, because with a little one, I will take any shortcuts I can get. Pixar Place has transformed in the last couple of years and the change has been phenomenal. I love all the Pixar artwork across the hotel, and especially in the lobby. There are so many artistic details there that it is a feast for the eyes. No matter which hotel you stay at Erin, you are sure to have a fantastic time.

Hotel Tip: Each hotel has unique and wonderful dining options. Be sure to explore them as they would make a great capstone to your vacation. A character breakfast at Storytellers Cafe before you check out, or a farewell dinner at Great Maple the night before an early flight.

Erin, I hope this was helpful information. You are taking your first big step in your vacation planning by booking your hotel. If you have any other questions or need help planning other aspects of your trip, please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelist, and we would be happy to share our thoughts.

    Best of luck planning!
