Hi Linda! Welcome to planDisney.
We are so happy you stopped by with your question! I can see that you are trying to get your pixie-dusted logistics in a row for a visit coming up next month. Let's see if we can find some tips and tricks and get you on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I believe the issue that you are running into is that theme park reservations are unavailable currently on June 7th. When Disneyland reopened last year,
a new system was put in place that requires Guests to have both a theme park ticket and a
theme park reservation to scan into the Main Entrance Gates. If you are purchasing tickets through the Disneyland Resort website, you will be prompted to make a reservation as part of the check-out process, so sometimes it feels as if tickets are unavailable or "sold out" for certain dates. I think it's easiest to think of the ticket and reservation separately. While the ticket is your admission to the park, the reservation holds a spot for you in a particular park on a particular day and helps Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and all your friends know how many people to expect each day. A reservation is subject to availability, BUT they can be canceled and rescheduled which means they can also open up! Let's take a look at what this means for you!
While this is not a guarantee, one route you could go is to purchase your tickets with a reservation for an alternative date as a placeholder for June 7th and continue to check the theme park reservation calendar for openings. This would allow you to lock in reservations for the 5th and 6th and hope that there is an opening within the next month for the 7th. If you arrive early enough on June 4th and could use the ticket that day if the 7th hasn't opened up, that would be a great option. If not, you might want to consider making the alternative date June 8th which will give you a few days while you are in the parks for reservations to open up. The calendar is updated live so with a little patience and some diligent refreshing, you might be able to grab a reservation if it pops up. For popular dates, they will go quickly so make sure your fast fingers are at the ready. One small caveat here is that multi-day tickets expire 13 days from first use, so you may be opening yourself up to having an unused park day if June 7th does not open up ahead of your departure. I'm going to think happy thoughts for you that this is not the case!
As a Disneyland Resort Hotel Guest, you can actually check the calendar for both Park Hoppers and Disney Hotel Guests by toggling to your ticket type along the top. They each have their own pool of reservations. If you do see something open up, you will need to cancel your alternative date reservation and rebook for June 7th. Within your Disneyland mobile app, tap into future plans from the three-bar menu on the bottom right-hand corner. Scroll to your alternative date and "Cancel Reservation". Once the cancellation is confirmed, go ahead and make a new reservation for the 7th.
While there is not a straight line to your answer, I hope these tips were helpful in your planning! If you have any issues with your reservations while on the ground, you're always welcome to talk to the Cast Members at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth Directly!
Magic awaits!
