Hey Sheila,
Welcome back to planDisney! I appreciate you for trusting us with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World stay. It sounds like you are gearing up to
celebrate the holidays at The Most Magical Place on Earth. The Christmas season is one of my favorite times to visit because there’s so much more cheer to be found throughout the resort. All 4 theme parks, Disney Springs and even your resort hotel will be beautifully decorated for the season. The
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will give you the opportunity to celebrate holidays around the world. You’ll also have the chance to attend
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This specially ticketed event happens on select nights at Magic Kingdom. It’s a fantastic celebration with festive foods, spectacular entertainment, and jolly character meet & greet opportunities. You will even get to see some of your favorite attractions switch things up with festive overlays for the holidays. You’re going to have an amazing time, Sheila!
Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are on sale now for Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests. Other guests can purchase tickets starting on July 16, 2026. If you’ve booked a stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, check your email for your resort confirmation email. Disney usually sends this right after you book, and it will contain your confirmation number. You’ll use that number to
link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account. Once this is done, you should be able to purchase your party tickets.
If you need help locating your confirmation number, or even with purchasing tickets call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations hotline for assistance. They should be able to help you figure things out.
While you’re visiting, I hope you’ll get to check out the
Merry Menagerie at Animal Kingdom. It’s one of the most enchanting experiences! Beautifully designed animal puppets are brought to life through skilled puppeteers who make them walk, blink, and even soar above guests on Discovery Island. It’s such a special feature that the young and the young at heart all enjoy. Have the best time celebrating the holidays this December, Sheila. If you have any additional questions about your visit, stop by and see us here at planDisney again. Until then, TTFN… ta-ta for now!
