My hotel reservation starts on a Saturday and my first park day is on that Monday. I have the park hopper plus option, can I go to the water park on that Saturday or Sunday before my first park day or do I have to wait until my first park day to go?

    Hi Laura!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question! I'm sure you are getting excited about your upcoming stay! There is nothing quite like planning for a Walt Disney World vacation!

What a great idea to opt for the Park Hopper Plus Option. This ticket package gives you access to multiple parks each day you visit along with a host of other fun experiences. If you are staying in a Disney Resorts hotel and combined your tickets with your resort reservation, then your ticket package will begin on your check-in day. This means you will be able to start visiting the water parks on the first weekend of your stay! If you purchased your ticket package separately from your resort reservations, then you should have selected a date to start your tickets. In this case, if you selected Monday, you will need to wait until that day to start using any of your tickets.

One of the perks of visiting the water parks is park reservations are not required for entry. You can decide on the day of your visit if you want to go. This provides the ultimate flexibility and gives you the chance the change plans at a moment's notice. In addition to the water parks, you'll also have access to play miniature golf, a round of regular golf, and a visit to ESPN Wide World of Sports. The options are endless with the Park Hopper Plus Option!

Laura, I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming stay! At this time, park hopping begins each day at 2 PM. If you want the ultimate Disney day, I suggest visiting a park in the morning to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resorts hotel Guests. After that, stop back at your resort for an afternoon swim, then head back to another park to close out the evening. You'll feel like the day is never-ending!

Have a great day! See ya real soon!
