i have a hotel reservation starting on the 15th and park passes starting that day. I do not need to check into the hotel first before I can go to the park, correct?

Hi Dru! Welcome back to planDisney!

Hiya Pal! In two short days, you are checking into your Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel! As a Walt Disney World resort guest, you never leave the Magic in the parks and you have unique benefits. All resorts are deeply immersive in storytelling and activities. You have the perk of a 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry at all four theme parks. Getting around is a breeze by using complimentary Disney Transportation. My favorite is the Disney Skyliner!

There is absolutely no need to visit your Disney Resort Hotel prior to your theme park reservation. I cannot tell you how many times, I have jumped off a plane, ran to my rental car, and drove straight to the theme parks. Because I linked my vacation plans via the My Disney Experience Mobile App and completed check-in, once my room was ready, I received a text with my room number. At the end of my theme park day, there was no need to visit the front desk. I went straight to my room and unlocked my door with either my MagicBand or Digital Key in the app.

Make time to visit Disney Springs! This month you can enjoy Celebrate Soulfully enriched entertainment. Grab a bite or cocktail at one of my favorite locations City Works Eatery & Pour House. I love their fried cheese curds and craft beer offerings.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
