Hiya Matt! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm sorry to hear that you're not going to make it to The Happiest Place on Earth next month. But.. Hakuna Matata! No worries! You can definitely make adjustments to your trip once you have new dates that work for you. I'd be happy to help point you in the right direction.
Matt, if your plans all fall within a
Vacation Package, you'll need to
call a Cast Member at the number listed for Vacation Packages to change the dates of your trips. Make sure you have your confirmation number at the ready to help them access your plans. Luckily, these wonderful magic makers will be able to change the entirety of your trip within the same phone call, simply moving your package from one set of dates to another.
If your
theme park tickets and
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations were made separately, you will have a multi-step process to change your plans. The best way to cancel or modify your Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservation at
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is by
calling a Cast Member at the Hotel Reservations Line to cancel or find new dates. I recently had to cancel a hotel reservation and the process was quick and easy and the conversation brought a smile to my face. While you can change the dates of your tickets at the window, I'd highly suggestion calling a Cast Member (again, I know), as the alternative would require an extra trip ahead of time and also runs the risk that
theme park reservations may be unavailable. The safest bet is to rely on the magic wands of those special Disneyland Cast Members!
Matt, if your family is feeling a little low about changing your trip, some World Princess Week content is the pixie you need to lift your spirits! Each day, our friends at Disney Parks Blog are celebrating a different princess. Today, it is time to celebrate my personal favorite princess,
Moana! You can also head over to the
planDisney Instagram Page to read inspirational notes about what the princesses mean to us and personal stories that will excite you for your own encounters during your upcoming stay!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
