Greetings, Gina, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you’re thinking of staying at a
Disneyland Resort hotel – it’s one of the best ways to immerse yourself in the magic! Let’s go over what to do with your vehicle when you arrive and some great perks you’ll enjoy as a hotel Guest.
Gina, self-parking is available for registered hotel Guests for an additional fee. The Grand Californian Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel also
offer valet service for a higher nightly rate per vehicle. As you approach the hotel, signs will help direct you to the right place. Keep in mind that overnight parking isn't permitted in areas like the Mickey and Friends structure.
I noticed you also asked about
early entry, Gina. I called the Front Desk at the Pixar Place Hotel and confirmed with a Cast Member that you can indeed take advantage of early entry on the day of check-in! Get there early, park your car, store your luggage at the Bell Desk, and check in with the Front Desk. When checking in, see if you might be able to get your hotel key, even if it won't unlock the room until later in the day. Typically, it's needed for early entry admission, and you can use it elsewhere, like the pool area, during your stay. If that's not possible, you can instead show your active hotel reservation in the
Disneyland mobile app at the theme park entrance for early entry – just make sure your reservation is linked to your app.
There are a few things to remember when it comes to early entry. Make sure your theme park reservation
matches the park offering early entry, since it changes based on the day of the week. Disneyland Park typically also offers early entry from the Disneyland Monorail, which is just a short walk from the Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel.
Early entry admission is just one of the perks of staying on-site. Disneyland Resort hotels are conveniently close to the theme parks and have that Disney magic we all love so much. Ask the Front Desk for a schedule of
hotel activities, which may include drawing classes, guided walking tours, movie nights, and more. And don't forget the pool areas! When my family visited in April, we spent half a day just relaxing, swimming, and going down waterslides.
Gina, I'm sure that you will have an incredible time during your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort. Soak up all the fun for the
70th Anniversary Celebration, try some of the amazing
new food and drink options, and give Mickey Mouse a big hug!
Wishing you a joyful trip full of core memories,
Kriss
