Hello Hagen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love that this question is a little bit of a challenge to figure out the time zone difference for you!
If you haven’t already, you can make your
FastPass+ selections for your January trip right now! Guests of the
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin can make their FastPass+ selections 60 days before arrival. For a check-in date of January 1, your FastPass+ selection date would be November 2, which was a day or two ago.
On Saturday, November 2, 2019, Walt Disney World was still on Daylight Saving Time in the United States. Your FastPass+ reservations opened at 7 am Eastern Daylight Time, which I believe would be 6 pm on Western Indonesia Time. At that time, you would have been 11 hours ahead of Florida. However, just to make it more interesting, we just ended Daylight Saving on November 3, 2019, and have returned to Eastern Standard Time. Know that when you visit us in January, there will be a 12 hour time difference between Jakarta and Walt Disney World.
If you haven’t made any FastPass+ selections yet, it’s time to get started! Some of my favorites are
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad,
Soarin’ Around the World,
Toy Story Mania, and
Avatar Flight of Passage!
Please let us know what other questions we can help you with as you plan your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Hagen! We are here to help!
