Which hotel would you recommend...Disney Port Orleans French Quarter or Caribbean Beach? We have two kids ages 5 and 6 who love water.

Hi there, Amy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for sharing your question with us!

It is indeed a tough choice, and both options can definitely be fantastic for your stay, so there truly is no wrong choice in this equation.

There are many reasons to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, but I'm especially in love with it because it feels quite relaxing. It is the smallest Moderate Resort and, because of that, it provides families with a quiet atmosphere after the intense days they will experience at the Theme Parks, and, for me, that feeling is fantastic. Your splashy Mouseketeers will also find a beautiful pool there, as the Doubloon Lagoon features a 51-foot-long snaking sea serpent slide that kids love!

I'm also happy to share that Guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter are invited to enjoy the pools at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, so you would be able to enjoy some fun at the Ol’ Man Island pool as well!

But if your main objective is to make this vacation splashtacularDisney's Caribbean Beach Resort might have an advantage, because the Fuentes del Morro Pool is FANTASTIC. It features two waterslides (and one of them is 102 feet long), spraying man-on-war cannons and a barrel that pours refreshing water from time to time. It is a lovely pool for your little Mouseketeers!

I'd suggest choosing Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort if you're looking for one incredibly fun pool to enjoy every day. If you're feeling adventurous, though, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter can be a fantastic option, as there will be so many pools available that your family will be able to discover a new one every day!

I hope my advice is useful and that you come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel as more questions pop up, Amy. We're always here to help friendly Guests like you!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
