I have hotel and parks booked and it was informed that I could purchase the dining plan separated. How can I purchase the dining plan?

    Hiya, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney!

Hot dog! Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is less than two months away. Now that is exciting! In my opinion, you’ll be visiting at a great time, Amanda. I’ll actually just miss you! I have a trip planned in the days just before your arrival. I love September because there tends to be lower crowds, but Halloween season is in full swing in the parks!

Now, let’s get to the heart of your question, Amanda. If you booked a vacation package that includes a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and theme park tickets, you should be able to add a Disney Dining Plan to your booking. You can do so by visiting the “My Plans” section of the My Disney Experience tab on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Simply find your reservation and click on the “Change Reservation” link. If you do not see that option, or need assistance, I recommend contacting Walt Disney World Resort directly. A friendly Cast Member will be more than happy to help you add a Disney Dining Plan to your booking, if possible. Many Guests love the convenience of the Disney Dining Plans, Amanda. It’s a great way to set and forget! You prepay for your meals ahead of your trip, and that’s one less thing to worry about when you’re immersing yourself in the magic!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held on select nights in August through October. It’s a frightfully fun time! There are exclusive entertainment offerings, Trick-or-Treat stations, attraction overlays, exclusive Character Experiences, and much more! Plus, EPCOT will be hosting the International Food & Wine Festival. There will be great offerings like the Eat to the Beat Concert Series and the Global Marketplaces across the park! Disney Parks Blog routinely releases a Foodie Guide in the weeks leading up to the start of the festival. Keep an eye out for it to see all of the delicious eats and sips that will be available!

I hope this answers your question, Amanda! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your magical visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

    See you real soon!
