    What is the 2021 hotel and park ticket cancellation/refund policy for COVID?

    Hi Laura, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by today with your question. During these uncertain times, you are not alone in having questions regarding the cancellation and modification of Disney travel plans. It is a topic that many have questions about. Now more than ever, it is important that Disney Guests are able to have flexibility to alter their plans, and Walt Disney World is doing all they can to ensure that this is the case.
     
    As you will see outlined in the Experience Updates pages, there is much flexibility in case you need to make alterations to your plans. In fact, Disney Travel Packages can be modified up to one day prior to the start of the trip without any Disney-imposed change fees. Existing Disney Park Tickets purchased before June 6, 2020 with valid use date beginning March 12, 2020 or later are now automatically extended to an expiration date of September 26, 2021. As you will see outlined on the Experience Updates - Parks pages, if you are unable to visit by that date, you simply need to call Ticket Services to discuss alternate options such as applying the value toward another Ticket purchase.
