Does my hotel package reservation need to be paid in full to make park reservations for Disneyland

Hey there, Nicole! Welcome to planDisney. You've stopped by with a great question about vacation packages and I'd be happy to help!

It sounds like you have a Disneyland Resort Hotel Package and are ready to start planning all the details for your trip. I absolutely love Disneyland Resort in the fall! I'm happy to share that you do not need to have your package paid in full in order to make your theme park ticket reservations.

To make your theme park ticket reservations, you will need to use the confirmation number you received in an email when you booked your package to link your reservation to your Disney account. Once that is linked, you should see a prompt for you to make your reservations. If you do not see it currently, that's most likely because it is too early to make theme park ticket reservations for your date.

Here are some important days to keep in mind and possibly set reminders for on your calendar.

    - You can make your theme park ticket reservations 120 days out.

-Dining reservations can be reserved up to 60 days in advance.

-You will need to pay your package in full 30 days prior to your arrival.

-Your eTickets will link to your Disney account 4 days prior to your arrival date.

Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog and their recent article talking about all things Halloween and the return of Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party that will be taking place while you are in the parks!

Nicole, thanks again for stopping by. Be sure to visit us again with any other planning questions you come up with!

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
