We have a hotel package and we aren’t able to use the water park on the day of check in since we get in so late. Are we able to move our water park to the next day?

Hey Shelby! Hot dog! You are just days away from your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You must be so excited to see Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals!

The free water park visit on check-in day has been a popular benefit since it was introduced. However, it must be utilized on check-in day and can’t be transferred to another date. Of course, you are welcome to visit either of the Disney water parks on another day of your vacation with paid admission. Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are open for Guests to enjoy during the summer months!

While I’m not sure how late you’re checking in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, when you arrive you are welcome to head out to the resort pool as long as it is during operating hours. You can also visit some of the resort hotel shopping, dining, and/or lounges that might be available.

You might also want to take a stroll to become familiar with your resort. I like to locate the transportation, pool, and dining areas when I arrive at a new Disney resort!

Of course, Shelby, if it is late when you check-in, you might want to settle into your “Disney home” for a good night’s sleep before your first full day at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Dreams do come true!
