Hiya, Nanette!
I’m so excited to
hEAR that you’re making plans for your September visit to the Disneyland Resort! I love visiting the
Downtown Disney District, and one of my family’s favorite things is hopping on the
Disneyland Monorail for a ride into Disneyland Park. Yes, you can ride the Monorail into Disneyland Park in the morning, with your valid Disneyland Park admission. The Monorail should open at the same time as Disneyland Park – you can
check the calendar for park hours as your trip gets closer. Keep in mind that trains run approximately every 10 minutes. You’ll typically pass through a security checkpoint in order to enter the Downtown Disney District, then you can head straight to the Downtown Disney station for the Monorail. You’ll need to show your valid theme-park ticket before entering the turnstiles and heading up the stairs or elevator to get in line. If you’re traveling with a stroller, you’ll need to collapse it before boarding.
During your journey to Disneyland Park, you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of the Happiest Place on Earth before stopping at the Tomorrowland Station, located right above Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. I recommend using the
Disneyland app once you’re in the parks to check Monorail availability and wait times, in case you want to head back to your hotel for a midday nap or pool break.
Please stop back with any other questions... I'm all EARS!
