Howdy, Michelle!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that your magical Disney vacation is just around the riverbend. Don't you just love the home away from home feeling of Disney Vacation Club Resorts? The serenity and elegance of
Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa is simply a lovely way to relax and reset during your Disney vacation. It's one of my favorite Disney Vacation Club Resorts.
Michelle, if you have purchased a Disneyland Vacation Package,
payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Typically, you need to make that payment manually by either paying the balance online or calling Disney Guest Services. However, if you are a
Disney Vacation Club Member and used your DVC Vacation Points to pay for your room, these Vacation Points will already have been taken to cover the cost of the room.
Then, when you set up your
Disneyland app and begin your mobile check-in, there is an option to add either your credit card or your debit card for incidental expenses. Here you can decide which payment method is better for you. Once you check in, sometimes there is an "authorization hold" amount put on your card. This amount is usually around $100 and is for estimated incidental expenses. If there is any remaining balance on your account upon checkout, this payment method will be charged after checkout.
I hope this helps you, Michelle! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and see me here, and I'll be so happy to help you.
Ta Ta For Now,
Keri
