Will hotel guests at Disneyland be able to trick or treat at the hotels this year like in previous years?

Trick or treat, my fellow Washingtonian! Welcome to planDisney - where there are no real tricks, just treating you to our best tips and tricks! Thank you for stopping by with your question, Larry. I hope this means you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up soon.

Halloween Time at Disneyland is currently in full swing and, with that, themed attractions, entertainment, dining, and special not-so-spooky experiences like complimentary trick-or-treating for Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Available on select afternoons this year, Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels can enjoy this delightful, classic Halloween activity. Guests are even welcome to wear costumes for trick-or-treating, but recommended attire for Disneyland will still apply, so not a bad idea to take a look at the specific guidelines on the Disneyland website before arrival. Then, when you're ready to party, check in at the Front Desk of your hotel to sign up and receive a wristband, as well as more details on the trick-or-treating experience. You should know that trick-or-treating is subject to change and cancellations can occur without notice. But I'll be crossing my fingers you'll have no tricks and only treats!

Speaking of treats, Larry, you'll definitely want to take a peek at the Halloween Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog! My family once adjusted our entire visit after drooling over the Halloween Foodie Guide, just to make sure we were in the parks to enjoy some of those treats - true story!

Tip: Keep an eyeball on the churros cart near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in California Adventure Park, Larry, because it looks like my favorite seasonal churro has returned - the Fluffernutter Churro! Menus are always subject to change, but if available, this infamous churro will satisfy any rumbly in the tumbly.

I hope this information has been helpful, Larry, and you have a frightfully fun time trick-or-treating in the Happiest Place on Earth! Remember, if any other planning questions come up as you're preparing for your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out again! We're not scary!

    Boo!

Meet the Panelist: McCayla, Washington

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
