Which hotel is the easiest to get to and from the parks?

    Hello, Carrie,

Thank you sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about Disney Resorts.  While all of the resorts offer transportation (often by bus) to all of the theme parks, the Deluxe Resorts offer the additional perk of being close to at least one of theme parks to cut down on transportation time.  Of all the resorts, I think Disney's Polynesian Village Resort edges out the other resorts when it comes to transportation to the theme parks because it makes it even easier to get to two of them.  From this resort, you can take the monorail or boat to the Magic Kingdom, and you can walk the short distance to the Ticket & Transportation Center to take the monorail to Epcot.  Disney's Contemporary Resort is also quite convenient since you can walk to the Magic Kingdom or take the monorail, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is also a short monorail or boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.  Overall, I prefer the monorail or boat because they don't stop as frequently with traffic and are often a bit roomier (you don't have to fold up strollers on the monorail!).

If you'd prefer to be close to Epcot, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and Disney's Boardwalk Inn are all walking distance to the theme park.  You can then take a boat or walk a longer distance to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

And finally, if you'd like to be close to Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is just minutes away by bus.

If we can answer any specific questions about any of the resorts, please let us know.  Wishing you a Delightfully Disney Day!  -Kara
