Howdy, Theresa!
This question brought a smile to my face because my little prince is one of the
Disneyland Monorail's biggest fans! It's like his own personal magic carpet ride. We often find ourselves riding the loop just for the sheer joy of it, soaking in the birdseye view of The Happiest Place On Earth that always leaves us grinning from ear to ear!
But Theresa, as you know, the monorail is designed to transport people from either the
Disneyland Hotel or the
Downtown Disney District directly into
Tomorrowland. If you are boarding from outside of the theme park gates, you'll need to scan your
theme park tickets before boarding. However, if you are already inside, it's an easy escape back to the end of the Downtown Disney District.
There are only two stops on the Disneyland Monorail: Tomorrowland and the Disneyland Hotel, so although part of the monorail's route passes over the
Disney California Adventure Park and through
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, it does not stop at either of those locations.
Theresa, I hope this was helpful information for you as you plan your visit to the Disneyland Resort next month! I'd love to share more of
my favorite tips, so feel free to
send me another message directly if you think of any other questions so I can respond more quickly.
You've got a friend in me,Danielle
