What hotel is close to Ft. Lauderdale cruise port

Ahoy there, Stella! Thanks so much for sailing on over to planDisney. I'm delighted to hear that you're planning an adventure with Disney Cruise Line, and I'll be happy to share all the details for a pre-cruise stay in Fort Lauderdale. Grab your sunscreen, and let's dive right in!

I am one of those people who likes to be at the airport hours before departure - and by the same token, I always prefer to arrive the day before a DCL trip! Checking into a hotel for a pre-cruise stay makes you feel like your vacation is already underway, and an early arrival usually means that your embarkation day will be a stress-free experience!

Stella, several hotels in Fort Lauderdale are close to Port Everglades and partner with Disney Cruise Line. Guests at these hotels can book ground transportation through DCL and be picked up at the hotel and magically whisked to the port. These currently include:
    • Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa
    • Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina
    • Omni Fort Lauderdale
To book a stay before and/or after your sailing, simply call Disney Cruise Line to make a reservation. You can also add ground transportation at that time, whether you plan to stay at a hotel after the cruise or head directly to the airport.

I hope this information is just what you need to get things in motion for your July trip! If you have any other questions about pre- or post-cruise logistics, or your sailing, please come back and visit us again. Our planDisney crew is always happy to help!
