What is the hotel cancellation policy?

    Hi Carlos,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your resort question! While I’m sorry to hear you’re considering canceling your stay, I completely understand that life can sometimes sprinkle unexpected pixie dust on our plans.

After checking with a friendly Cast Member, here’s what I found out:

For room-only reservations, you can cancel 8 or more days before your arrival without penalty. You can do this conveniently through your My Disney Experience account or by calling the Reservations Team.

If you’ve booked a vacation package, the rules are a little different:

    • Cancel more than 30 days before your arrival, and there’s no penalty (unless you’ve added Travel Protection).
    • Cancel 3 to 29 days prior, and there’s a $200 cancellation fee (remember, prices are subject to change without notice).
    • Cancel within 2 days of your arrival, and unfortunately, the full package price will be nonrefundable.
Carlos, whatever you decide, I hope your Disney dreams come true soon. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach back out!

    See you real soon,

    Christina
