When a hotel booking becomes available due to a cancellation, how can I be alerted to book a room?

    Hi Millie,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your question about Disney Resorts Collection hotel room bookings.  It looks like you are planning on visiting during the holiday season, there is nothing more magical than seeing Walt Disney World Resort decorated for the holidays, it is breathtaking!

Reservations for the holiday season can be tough to secure, so my best piece of advice is to keep checking.  There may be more reservations as your visit approaches, as guests cancel, but other than checking the Walt Disney World Resort website frequently for any updates there isn't a way to be alerted.  The best time to check would be between 45 and 30 days prior to your dates, given that final payments are due around that time and guests who are confirming plans may in fact need to cancel.  Given that this time of year can be busy, I would also suggest trying slightly different dates to see if anything comes up.  If you switch room types, or even the number of days you wish to stay, you may find something.  If all else fails, there are several other Resorts close to Disney property for accommodations that may be suitable.

I hope you are able to find a resort that is "Practically Perfect in Every Way" this holiday season, Millie.  If you have any other questions please come back to visit us here at planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
