Hiya, Nick! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney - it's always a great time to plan your next Disney vacation! You've got a friend in me, and like my favorite cowgirl Jessie, I'll be by your side to track down the information you're looking for. Yee-haw!
After being
Disney Vacation Club Members for just about a decade, our family has never regretted our decision to join the coolest club around. The accommodations at the DVC resorts have served us well as our girls have grown up. Now that they are older teens, it's great to have different options like the larger villas to ensure that everyone has space to spread out.
Our planDisney crew was VERY excited when the special offer for a
free dining plan for kids ages 3-9 in 2026 was released recently. This is such a great deal! Our family generally opts for the
Disney Dining Plan when we visit
Walt Disney World Resort, as we really like to have a sit-down meal during the day. It's a great way to get off our feet, hydrate, and decide where we want to go next!
Nick, I spoke with the delightful Donna at DVC
Member Services, and she was able to confirm that you certainly can take advantage of the free kids' dining offer for your upcoming vacation. You will need to call Member Services or add the dining plan from the "My Dashboard" section of the Member website. The minimum requirements to qualify for the offer include a minimum 1-night stay and the purchase of a dining plan for each Guest in your party who is age 10 or older.
There are restaurants across Walt Disney World to please even the pickiest of palates, so you're sure to have plenty of options to choose from. Our standby spots on every trip are
Sanaa (
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas) for the legendary bread service and a diverse menu with Indian and African-inspired dishes, and
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop (
Disney's Beach Club Resort) for a fun atmosphere and decadent desserts.
I hope you have a great time discovering your new favorite Disney dining spot, Nick! Please come back and see us again at planDisney anytime if we can help with other planning tips and tricks for your 2026 vacation.
Bon Appetit!
Susan
