    Which hotel is better Coronado springs, Port Orlns, Carabean beach? Planning to go with 2 kids, ages 8 and 5 in may 2012

    Hi Elena,

    The better hotel will depend on what is important to your family. All guests have different preferences but I can help narrow it down for you.

    With young kids, you may want to opt for Port Orleans French Quarter as this moderate resort is the smallest  in size. While small, it is absolutely charming! Boat transportation to Downtown Disney is a convenient way to travel to the restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. The rooms were renovated earlier this year and all now have queen beds.

    Port Orleans Riverside is the sister resort to French Quarter. They allow guests to use the amenities (such as pools) of both resorts. Riverside also has transportation to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula Riverboat. This resort is currently undergoing renovations and adding queen beds to the rooms. Renovations will be on-going over the next year. Royal rooms with special theming will be available as of February 2012. This is a large but beautiful resort.

    Caribbean Beach has the largest rooms but currently there are only double beds in the rooms. This resort,  however, has sandy beach areas and a pirate ship water play area in addition to the zero-entry depth pool. It's a very large resort as well.

    Coronado Springs is a large resort with convention facilities which does draw in a business crowd. It has rooms that were renovated to offer queen beds. The pool facility is wonderful and my son says it has the best slide of the moderate hotels.

    Choosing will depend on whether you want a resort with the best pool slide, queen beds, a beach, etc.
    Just prioritize and you'll quickly have it narrowed to the BEST resort for YOUR family!
