Hi there, Argie!
Thanks for making a splash here at planDisney! My two kiddos are around the same ages as yours, and we can't wait to explore more Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotels. I'd love to share my family's top hotel choices with you, Argie. Let's dive into the list!
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort: If your little ones like the pirate life like my boys do, they are going to be in awe of the shipwreck water play area near the
Fuentes del Morro feature pool. There's a nice casual spot for food and drinks called
Banana Cabana nearby where you can keep a watchful eye, or you can splash around with your swashbuckling kiddos. On our last visit, my husband and I noticed a nice playground near this area as well.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort: Like the last resort on this list, this one is located on the Disney Skyliner route, which is a plus when you're with kiddos and want to get to the parks quickly. You and your older kiddo may like the
Finding Nemo-themed The Big Blue Pool, but the theme carries on at the Schoolyard Sprayground (a splash area) and Squirt's Righteous Reef (a playground). They're totally awesome!
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort: Last, but definitely not least, this is one of my favorite Resort hotels on the Disney Monorail route (near
Magic Kingdom Park). Your little Mouseketeers will be obsessed with the Kiki Tikis water play area. The slides are kid-friendly, but they'll love the thrill of climbing across the bridges and up and down the stairs. And you'll love relaxing in one of the many beach chairs along Seven Seas Lagoon.
These are just a few on my long list of Resort hotel play areas that I want my kiddos to experience. Honestly, you can't make a wrong choice because most of the Resort hotels have kid-friendly areas like playgrounds, pools, and splash pads.
AN EXTRA GEM: Hanging out at your chosen Resort hotel's pool and splash areas is always a great time, but your kiddos will absolutely love the Disney water parks as well! The Frozen-themed
Tike's Peak play area at Disney's Blizzard Beach is the absolute cutest. Kids love the water jets that are a part of Anna and Elsa's ice fortress! At the moment, only
Disney's Blizzard Beach is open; however, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and follow
planDisney and
Disney Parks on social media to get the latest updates about
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.
Argie, if you have any further questions about your most magical vacation, please don't hesitate to
revisit planDisney!
Magic always,
LeAndra
