The holidays are officially here at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I bet you can't wait to get a little bit of that pixie-dusted Christmas cheer. Let's make sure your holiday visit is practically perfect!
We all put a lot of thought and effort into our vacation plans, but you never know when those plans will need to change. Fortunately, you have some flexibility thanks to the tools available in your My Disney Experience account.
As long as they haven't expired, the easiest way to change the dates on your tickets is to fire up the
My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone. Click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your screen, then on "Tickets and Passes" on the next page. That brings you to a listing of all the tickets associated with your account. Under each ticket, you should see actions that you can take with that ticket, such as assigning it to another Guest, or modifying the dates or ticket type. Click there, then select your new dates. Keep in mind that since Disney uses date-based ticket pricing, you may be prompted to pay the difference if the dates you're choosing have a different cost than the original ones. You can do that right in the app when you finish making your changes.
Also, don't forget to change the dates of your
Disney Park Pass theme park reservations, too! Your existing reservations won't carry over to your new dates, so this is a really important step.
