Hi Denise,
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There are so many
recreation options at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. From the link I just provided, you will be able to find more information about many of your questions. Let me see if I can help you with some of the specifics.
Many of the activities that you are looking at are run through
Tri-Circle-D Ranch, including the carriage and wagon rides. My family and I have enjoyed both a carriage ride and a wagon ride at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. A carriage ride is more of a personalized experience, can accommodate up two adults and three small children, or four adults. A wagon ride can include many guests. As such, the carriage ride is more expensive - please see the link to Tri-Circle D Ranch for current pricing on both. There is currently a
Disney Vacation Club discount available for the carriage ride, but not the wagon ride. It is a good idea to make a reservation for a carriage ride by calling 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529). The wagon rides are first-come, first-served, so no reservation needed.
As to bike rentals, yes, helmets are included in bike rentals; however, there are not tow-behind trailers available. The
Fort Wilderness Archery Experience is available for guests ages 7 and up. The experience is 90 minutes long, and you can again make reservations calling the phone number I listed above.
I would love to help you plan more Denise; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do write back if you have any further questions!
