Hello, Clairann! Thanks so much for reaching out to me. I'm happy to answer your question today!
Purchasing a theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option allows for so much flexibility with your park days. You can be in one magical park in the morning and then another in the afternoon. While I love to take my time and explore each park, sometimes you just want a bit of a change in the middle of your day. Are the mountain coasters at
Magic Kingdom Park and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in
EPCOT calling you on the same day? Well, you can answer both of those calls with the Park Hopper Option. When the magic calls, you just
have to answer!
Until January 9, 2024,
Theme Park Reservations are required for all ticket holders to enter a theme park at the
Walt Disney World Resort. You only need to make a reservation for the first park that you are visiting. Then, after 2 p.m., you can hop to another park as long as your ticket includes the Park Hopper Option. Please note that you must enter your first park to hop to another one. If you have not already scanned into the park for which you made your reservation, you will not be able to enter another park.
EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park are great parks to hop between as they are only two short
Walt Disney World Monorail rides away from each other.
Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT are also great parks to hop between as they are connected by the
Disney Skyliner, my new favorite resort transportation option. However, you can hop between any of the parks and
Disney Springs by using the
Walt Disney World Bus Service. Just make sure to factor in some extra time as the buses tend to take a bit longer to travel between locations.
Clairann, I hope you have a wonderful visit to the resort. Be sure to
reach out again if you have any other questions leading up to your visit. And be sure to check and see if
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is being offered when you are there. This after-hours event is my favorite at the resort and I highly recommend it!
