Hey there, Tammy. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
Park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day, Tammy, and I think you'll really enjoy it too. Right now,
park hopping does look a little bit different than it did before. Here's how park hopping is currently working:
- Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
- Guests wishing to park hop must have park pass reservations for the first theme park of the day they wish to visit
- It is not possible or even necessary to hold multiple park pass reservations in one day - even with a park hopper ticket
- On the day of, you'll need to scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other theme parks later in the day. This sort of "activates" the park hopper feature each day
- Park hopping hours now begin at 2:00 p.m. each day and last until each park closes in the evening
- Complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided to help make park hopping a little bit more convenient at this time
So, Tammy, as you can see you are doing everything right so far! All you need is one park pass reservation per day. When you are making your itinerary, you'll want to plan each day to start off with the Walt Disney World Theme Park you want to visit most since you'll have from park opening till around 2:00 p.m. to enjoy it. After that, you are free to hop to any or all of the other Walt Disney World Theme Parks throughout the rest of the day.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had about park hopping, Tammy. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and happy hopping!
