Hello and Welcome, Judy! I always love seeing a fellow North Carolinian stop by and ask a question here at planDisney!
I'm excited to see that you are possibly considering the park hopper option during your trip to Walt Disney World.
Park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day! It just recently returned to us at the start of this year and I couldn't have been happier. However, park hopping does look a little bit different than it did before.
Here's how park hopping is currently working:
- Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
- Guests wishing to park hop must have a park pass reservation for the first theme park they wish to visit each day
- On the day of, Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other theme parks later in the day
- Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m and last until each park closes in the evening
- It is not necessary to make additional park pass reservations to park hop. Just that initial reservation each day
- To make park hopping a little bit more convenient for Guests at this time, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is being provided.
Once you are inside of the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks, there isn't more of a cost to you to be there, perse. With your park hopper ticket, you'll have access to all of the theme parks, attractions, shows and pop-up character cavalcades that take place throughout the day. Additional costs would be for food and beverages and merchandise throughout the day.
I hope this helps explain park hopping a little bit better to you, Judy. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun!
