Hopper tickets: “Subject to capacity limitations”, does this sentence means that maybe I’ll be paying the 55 extra dollars but there’s a chance I am not going to be able to get in to the second theme park?

    Hey Marysol!
    Welcome to planDisney!
I am excited to hear that you are planning an adventure to the Happiest Place on Earth! I see that you purchased Park Hopper tickets for your next trip. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are so close to each other, that it makes hopping to the next park a breeze. You’ll start your day at the theme park that you chose when you made your theme park reservation and then you are able to hop to the next park starting at 1:00pm. After that you are free to hop back and forth as much as you’d like.
As you mentioned, if one of the parks hits capacity, then you would not be able to enter until more guests left the park you were trying to get into. This typically only happens around the holidays on days like Christmas or New Years Eve. It is a risk but if it were me I wouldn’t worry about it too much unless I was visiting on one of those days. The reservation system that’s now in place should help reduce that possibility as well. In the past, attendance could be unpredictable because guests could show up with tickets or Annual Passes at their leisure without making a reservation. The fine print is there to let you know that it is a possibility even if it’s not likely.
Well Marysol, I hope this helps and let us know if you need anything else before your trip.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
