If you have hopper ticket and a reservation to start your day at California Adventure, can you enter the resort via the monorail/ Downtown Disney? Or does that only work if you are starting your day at Disneyland?

Hey there, hi there, Tracy! Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you are cruising right along with planning your upcoming visit and I'd be happy to help steer you in the right direction. Ka-Chow!

If you are starting your park hopping day at Disney California Adventure Park, the Disneyland Monorail will not be an option to enter the park. The monorail only has drop-offs/pick-ups at the Downtown Disney District Station and in Disneyland Park at the Tomorrowland Station. This isn't an option because you must start at the park you selected and cannot hop over to the next until 1:00 p.m.

If you are staying on property, both Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Paradise Pier Hotel have exclusive entrances into Disney California Adventure Park for resort hotel Guests. If you are arriving via car, you have the Mickey and Friends/Pixar Pals Parking Structures that will give you the option to take the tram or walk through Downtown Disney District. At the Toy Story Parking Lot, there will be a bus that takes you to the Harbor Drive entrance and drops you right off at the Esplanade between the two parks. Either way you arrive, all options really are a pretty quick option to get to either park.

Tracy, thanks again for stopping by. Please come back and see us again if you think of anything else we can help you with!
