Hiya Kat! It's great to have you stop by planDisney!
Only a month away until you arrive for a lengthy stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! Nine days is plenty of time to see and do everything you want during your trip. Having the Park Hopper Plus Option added to your tickets allows you not only the ability to visit multiple parks in one day but extended time to spend at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park as well. And since you plan on purchasing a 5-day park ticket, you'll get a total of five days to potentially visit the water park.
Kat, I was able to confirm with a Cast Member earlier that just like the theme parks, you can come and go from the water parks as well. You'll only be required to use one entry per day. This allows you to be flexible with your time and create the perfect park day for your itinerary. Keep in mind that
transportation is limited to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon at this time, so you'll need to take a bus to Disney Springs and transfer to the bus that runs to Typhoon Lagoon. If you happen to have a car with you on vacation, you'll have the option to drive here. Parking is free of charge (although pricing is always subject to change), so this may be the best option depending on where you are staying.
While Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is still under refurbishment at this time, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open and operating. There are some fantastic attractions to experience here, including one of the largest wave pools in the country. If you are traveling with little ones,
Ketchakiddee Creek is the perfect kiddie area for them to splash around and enjoy their time. And if you wanted to have a private space for your family to relax, you can rent a
Beachcomber Shack with a shaded area to have as your home base.
Kat, I hope you have a magical time during your stay next month!
See ya real soon!
Greg
