What are "hopper" passes? How do we get them?

Hi there Dawn. How exciting that you are planning your very first Walt Disney World vacation!

Magic Your Way tickets provide great flexibility because they can be customized to meet your park touring needs. First, you purchase a Base Ticket that allows you to enter one of the Disney Parks each day. If you add the Park Hopper Option, you can come and go as often as you please through out any of the four major Walt Disney World theme parks during the length of your ticket. The Park Hopper Option can be added after the initial ticket purchase. So if, for instance, you buy a 7-day ticket and decide on the 2nd day of your vacation that you'd like to "hop" between parks, you can add the Park Hopper Option at that time.

You might also wish to consider adding the Water Park Fun & More Option. This choice provides a select number of admissions to Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, DisneyQuest, Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex, or a round of golf at the Oak Trail course.

Please keep in mind that adding the above options will result in an extra cost on top of the base ticket price.

More details, including pricing information, can be found at this link on the Walt Disney World website.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your magical first trip! May your Disney vacation be 'park hopping perfect' in every way!
