I have a hopper pass. i made reservations at Animal Kingdom for 5/6/21 and I want to make reservation at Epcot as well. It does not allow me to make reservation at both parks. Is it possible for me to make reservations at both parks?

Hey there, Russell. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I'm excited to see that you have upgraded your park tickets to include the park hopper option. Park hopping is actually my very favorite way to spend a day at Disney.

Russell, I have good news for you! As long as you've made a park pass reservation for the initial theme park you want to visit each day, you are good to go. To park hop, you do not need to make multiple park pass reservations. In fact, the system doesn't even let you do that. So since you've made park pass reservations for Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you are all set to enjoy a day there and then be able to hop over to Epcot later to enjoy that as well.

Park hopping did recently return to us at the start of this year with a few new rules and regulations. To park hop at this time you must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option. Then you will need to make a park pass reservation for the initial theme park you want to visit each day. On the day of, you'll need to scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation before continuing on the theme parks that day. There is no need to make additional park pass reservations after the initial one each day. Currently, park hopping hours are from 2:00 p.m. until each park closes in the evenings. To make park hopping a little easier for Guests like you and me at this time, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is being provided. Around 2:00 p.m. or after when you are ready to head to another Walt Disney World Theme Park, head out of the park you are currently at and toward the bus stop area. You should see a bus stopped marked for your next destination. Working that area should be a Cast Member and he or she will want to verify that you do have the park hopper option before being able to board the bus. This is just a quick scan of your MagicBand or ticket card and you'll be whisked off to your next destination.

Russell, I do hope you enjoy park hopping as much as I do. If you have any other questions about park hopping or anything else before your trip, please feel free to come back and ask me. Have fun and happy hopping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
