If I have a hopper for 5 days and a reservation for the magic kingdom on a not so scary date. Do I also have to buy the ticket for the Halloween evet?

    Welcome to planDisney Thomas!

Five amazing park days of park hopping sounds amazing! You will really get to soak in all the magic, and with so many days you will even have time for relaxing mid-day breaks at your resort to lounge at the pool or take a power nap.

On Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party days, the Magic Kingdom will close to park guests at 6pm. If you wish to remain past 6:00pm for the spook-tacular fun, you will need to purchase a party ticket.

You have options! The first, of course, is to purchase a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket and stay for the parade, fireworks, and trick-or-treating! If you do not want to stay, you do have that park hopper ticket so you might head to another theme park for some nighttime fun. (Check calendar for park hours.) Another option is to spend the evening in Disney Springs for dining and shopping. Or, maybe it is a good night to head to your resort and enjoy your room and get to bed early for a good night's sleep. So many choices but decide what works best for you and your travel pals!

While you are finalizing your travel plans, double check that in addition to your Theme Park Tickets you have secured your Theme Park Reservations. You will need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. If you enjoy eating (who doesn't!) then you may want to secure your dining reservations when you reach your 60-day booking window.

Have a great vacation and let me be the first to wish you a very Happy Halloween!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
