Hi moms. We are hoping to come to WDW next year from the UK. Can you give me some moderate resort hotel ideas please. There will be myself and my two teenage daughters, my son and his partner who are in their 20's. Do POFQ have adjoining rooms? Thank you.

    Hi Emma,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Getting the trip planning started with the choice of resort is a great place to begin. The moderate level resorts do have adjoining rooms (rooms side by side) as well as connecting rooms (rooms side by side with a door connecting the two rooms). Keep in mind that requests are not guaranteed but are based on availability upon check-in. However, it is always a good idea to have that request on your reservation as the cast members will do their best to accommodate your party.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is a wonderful resort with the quaint southern charm of Louisiana and more specifically New Orleans. With jazz music playing all over the resort and the vibrant colors of Mardi Gras, you are sure to feel as if you've been transported to the "Big Easy". The Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (food court) serves a New Orleans favorite, beignets, which I highly recommend for either breakfast one morning or a late night snack. They are simply delicious. While this resort does not have a table service restaurant, Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, very nearby, has Boatwright's Dining Hall. This restaurant serves southern classics such as shrimp and grits, jambalaya, and crawfish etoufee.

I hope this helps in your search for the perfect resort to suit your family. May you have a magical trip.
