We were hoping to get to see fireworks during our time at Disneyland, but I do not see a scheduled time for them on 5/6 or 5/7. Will that be updated closer to the date, or will there not be fireworks during our time there?

Welcome to planDisney, Chelsea! We're so excited you're here and I'll be honored to help you with your question as you plan your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort. I bet you're counting down the days; it's just around the corner!

One of the exciting offerings of Pixar Fest - the limited-time celebration coming to Disneyland Resort beginning April 26 - is a brand-new fireworks spectacular! Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular with Fireworks is set to light up the night sky over Disneyland Park on select nights. At this time, I see that it is mostly scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. You can view this as you approach your visit by using the Hours & Events Calendar, or the Disneyland mobile app. I noticed that the two dates you mentioned are not currently listed on the schedule for this particular fireworks spectacular, but I do hope something works out for you and your travel party to get to experience it!

You might be happy to know that the entertainment schedule does still list fireworks during your visit, with a special showing of Fire of the Rising Moons in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. This show will feature both pyrotechnics and the compelling musical score from some of your favorite Star Wars films! I have not seen it yet, but I imagine it is thrilling! It looks like there are multiple vantage points from around Batuu to capture the best view, and if you plan to use a MagicBand+ during your visit - it will glow during the show!

As always, I like to remind Guests that all showtimes and entertainment schedules are subject to change without notice, but it's still helpful to check the Hours & Events Calendar so you have an idea of what to expect around the time of your trip. You can toggle between a 1-day and 5-day view so you can see what might be happening throughout your visit dates. I hope this is useful to you, Chelsea! Please come back and see us again, here at planDisney, if we can lend other personal advice to make your next Disneyland Resort vacation even more magical.

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
