We are hoping to come to Disneyland in January with our 4 year old, 2 year old and 5 month old. Is there a list of rides that I can see for my kids to go on and would my 5 month old be able to go on my lap for any rides?

    Hiya, Katelynn!

Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy! How exciting that you are planning to bring your little Mouseketeers to Disneyland Resort. I am a firm believer you are never too young (or old) for Disney. My son's first visit to Walt Disney World was at 3 months and his first visit to Disneyland was at 18 months! Every age and stage is different offering a new experience, and my kids have quite literally grown up with Disney.

Katelynn, there are over 60 "Any Height" attractions that are available for Guests of any age, including lap infants.  When you go to the Disneyland website, click on "Attractions" and filter the list to "Any Height" and this will give you the list of rides suitable for your baby, though I have also linked to it.  The majority of the attractions for your little ones will be in Disneyland Park, though Disney's California Adventure Park is also worth a visit. Disneyland Park has wonderful attractions, but my kids' favorite has always been Mickey's Toontown as this is an area made for kids to run, play, climb and explore. You can also visit Mickey and Minnie's houses.

Disneyland Park has a few tot-friendly attractions, like Jessie's Critter Carousel.  Of course Cars Land is a must-visit, especially if you have any Lightning McQueen racers in your group. Kachow!  This is one of the best areas in any Disney park, and my kids loved seeing the Cars characters come to life. When your little ones want to stretch their legs in this park, I highly recommend the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

You also have the option for "Rider Switch," so if you have another adult with you and want to go on one of the attractions that the little ones might not yet be tall enough for, you can go on the attraction while an adult stays with the kids. Then, when you are finished, you can switch without having to wait in a long line. Just let the Cast Member know at the attraction you are doing Rider Switch. It's a great way to ensure everyone gets to enjoy the parks.

Finally, I want to point out that there are Baby Care Centers in both theme parks. These are great if any of your Mouseketeers need a diaper change, a quiet place to feed, or you just need a break.

I hope this helps you, Katelynn! If you have any further questions, stop back and see us and we will be so happy to help you.

    See ya real soon!
